Review of French Roulette (Boss Media)
Boss Media offers a version of French roulette which is very good, both in terms of odds and game play. The roulette table is designed conform the French roulette tables found in many European casinos. You can also place bets that are unique to French roulette: the Announce and Neighbor bets.
The roulette wheel has 36 numbers plus a single zero. This results in an house edge of 2.70% for all bets, except the even-money bets. If you place an even-money bet and the ball lands in single zero, you'll receive half of your bet back. This rule, also know as the "La Partage" rule, reduces the house edge on even-money bets from 2.70% to only 1.35%. Compare this to the house edge of 5.26% on American roulette!.
French roulette table
A French roulette table differs in many ways from an American roulette table, but these differences are only superficial: except for the five number line bet (which requires a double zero) you can make the same bets.

A bet on the segment of the roulette wheel opposing the Voisins du zero segment. This includes the numbers: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, 33. |
| Orphelins |
A bet on the segment of the roulette wheel, *not* covered by the Voisins du zero or Tier du Cylindre segments. This includes the numbers: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31, 34. This bet can be made in two ways:

Neighbor bets
You can place a neighbor bet by betting on a number, and then announcing the number of neighbors of that number you would like to include in the bet. You can select up to four neighbors (both to the left and the right on the roulette wheel), resulting in a bet on max 9 numbers.

Multi player
Boss Media's French roulette is available in a multi-player version. Up to four players can join a multi-player table and chat with each other. Single player tables are also available.
