Review of European Roulette (Cryptologic)

European roulette in a Cryptologic casino is played with a roulette wheel having thirty-seven numbered slots: the numbers 1 to 36 and the single zero. American roulette also has a slot for the double zero. The house edge for American roulette is 5.26%, but it's only 2.70% for European roulette, because of the missing double zero.

Available bets

The bets that are available in Cryptologic's European roulette, are the same as in American roulette, but with one exception: the five number bet is *not* available. Since the five number bet is the worse bet you can make in American roulette, this is another reason to prefer European roulette over the American version. The odds of the remaining 8 bets are the same as in American roulette.

Betting limits

Table limits may vary per casino. Here are a few examples for a couple of casinos we've checked:

Casino Table limits
Omni, CS CasinoCSc $5 - $100
Intercasino $5 - $300
Ritz Club £1 - £1,500

Betting history

The display in the left bottom corner gives you a history of the numbers that won in previous spins. Yellow numbers represent "black" numbers. Red numbers represent "red" numbers. The single zero is always colored green.
