American Roulette (Microgaming)
Review of American Roulette (Microgaming)Microgaming's version of American roulette follows standard American roulette rules and is played on a wheel with 38 numbers, including the "0" and the "00". The house edge on all nine different bets offered is 5.26% (except for the five number bet which has an even higher house edge and should never be placed). Bets availableAll nine standard American roulette bets are available. Please refer to our general American roulette page for a summary of those bets and their odds. Betting limitsBetting limits vary per casino and per bet, and even in time. To get the most recent information about the betting limits in place at your favorite Microgaming casino, you'll have to contact their support staff. Betting historyThe history of roulette spins is available in the display in the top right corner. Quick spinIf you don't want to wait endlessly for the Roulette wheel to complete it's spin, you can check the Quick Spin box in the Game options screen. This will considerably increase the speed of the Roulette spin, and allows you to make more bets in less time. Neighbor betsA Neighbor bet is a bet on a particular area of the Roulette wheel. The order of the numbers on the Roulette wheel is *not* consecutive like on the felt layout. So if you wanted to place a Neighbor bet manually this would be a little awkward. Fortunately, if you place a bet on a number (in Expert Mode only), and press the "Neighbor" button, your bet will be placed on it's neighbors automatically. You can select the preferred number of neighbors in the Game Options screen. Casinos where you can play American Roulette (Microgaming)
